St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Blayes Gros, 20, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2023, at 2:21 pm for battery-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Branden D. Mills, 44, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2023, at 9:30 am on the following charges:

• Reckless operation of a vehicle
• Simple criminal damage to property
• Hit and run driving
• Tampering with surveillance/monitoring system
• Theft of utility services

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
