St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Johnathan Jermaine Miller, 44, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on November 8, 2023, at 8:50 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession/distribution/sale of legend drug without a prescription
• Possession of schedule II (hydrocodone)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Improper lane usage

Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
