St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Mitchell Augustine Jr., 43, Pineville, LA, was arrested on December 4, 2023, at 10:32 am on a warrant for assault-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Shantell M. Hotard, 38, Gibson, LA, was arrested on December 4, 2023, at 9:38 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Paul Marshall Daigle, 45, Bayou Vist6, LA, was arrested on December 4, 2023, at 6:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Battery of a dating partner
• Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Interfering with emergency communications
• Domestic abuse aggravated assault

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Shawn Daniel Elliot, 42, Llano, TX, was arrested on December 4, 2023, at 3:52 pm on a warrant for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.
