St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Luis Alberto Sifuentes, 32, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 7, 2023, at 9:49 pm for reckless operation w/accident, criminal damage to property-simple, and driver must be licensed. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
