St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 60 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Landon Arron Rodriguez, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 11, 2023, at 3:32 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Bail was set at $400.

Irving Anthony Mitchell, 61, Belle Chase, LA, was arrested on December 11, 2023, at 3:47 pm on a warrant for driving under the influence and no driver's license. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
