St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Chad Michael Wiggins Jr., 31, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 13, 2023, at 2:42 am on the following charge:

• Turning movements and required signals
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of methamphetamine
• Failure to appear warrant- possession of marijuana

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Corey Lee Percle, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 12, 2023, at 11:40 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Bail was set at $7,500.

 

Skyla Jones, 19, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 12, 2023, at 11:40 am on a warrant for domestic abuse-aggravated assault. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
