St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 209 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Juan Carlos Salinas-Lara, 20, Amelia, LA, was arrested on December 30, 2023, at 10:39 am on a warrant for indecent behavior with a juvenile. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Crystal Renee Rubin, 38, Breaux Bridge, LA, was arrested on January 2, 2024, at 2:32 pm on a warrant for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Connie Ranea Nolan, 53, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 2, 2024, at 5:25 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamine
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Improper turn and/or failure to give required signal
• Issuing worthless checks

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Tracy Lynn Thompson, 51, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 3, 2024, at 11:57 pm for criminal damage to property. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

David Wayne Mire Jr., 20, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 29, 2023, at 11:25 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and speeding. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

James Duhon III, 49, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 30, 2023, at 1:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and speeding. Bail was set at $3,000.

 

Richard Ricardo Charpentier, 37, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on December 29, 2023, at 10:19 pm on a warrant for failure on the following charges:

• Driving while intoxicated
• Open container
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of schedule IV drugs

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Fonzie John Wade, 48, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on December 31, 2023, at 11:15 am for simple battery of the infirmed, battery-simple, and assault-aggravated. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Joshua Glen Miles Jones, 36, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 30, 2023, at 3:58 pm for criminal damage to property-simple. Jones was released on a $500 bond.

 

Wilfredo Christopher Cabrera-Romero, 21, Amelia, LA, was arrested on January 1, 2024, at 5:43 am for reckless operation with accident and no driver's license. Bail was set at $750.
