St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Craig Anthony Leonard, 51, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 4, 2023, at 9:47 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Nigel Leigh Singleton, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 4, 2024, at 8:26 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Singleton was released on a summons to appear in court.

 

Robert Jules Rock II, 67, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 4, 2024, at 6:38 pm for theft. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Chet Williams, 56, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 4, 2024, at 6:33 pm for theft. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Brianna Rose Odom, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 4, 2024, at 1:32 pm for aggravated assault involving domestic violence, resisting arrest or officer, and disturbing the peace by language. Bail was set at $7,000.

 

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
