St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jaquan Daniel Gray, 19, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 16, 2024, at 1:25 pm on a Berwick Police Department warrant for aggravated battery of a dating partner and cyberstalking. Gray is being held for another agency.

Shane Eugene Richard, 29, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on January 17, 2024, at 1:23 am for domestic abuse battery and battery-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
