St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 51 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lacoryer Deshawn Nicholas, 38, Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2024, at 4:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of battery of a dating partner. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Shantell Marie Hotard, 38, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2024, at 6:06 pm on a failure to appear warrant for possession of meth. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS

Tyjon Alexander, 23, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2024, at 10:56 am on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen firearms. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
