St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ray Jovan Robertson, 34, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 11:21 am for a probation violation. Bail was set at $5,000.

 

Darrell Jason Sides, 49, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 1:08 pm for reckless operation-no accident, driving while intoxicated, and open container. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Breanna Lynn Hillebran, 25, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 6:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute
• Possession of alprazolam with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule III
• Transactions involving proceeds from drug proceeds

Hillenbran also held a Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear.

Bail has not been set at this time on the St. Mary Parish warrant. Hillebran is also being held for another agency.

 

NARCOTICS DIVISION

Arrie Sam, 18, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 10:19 pm on the following charges:

• Illegal possession of stolen firearms
• License plate lights required
• Failure to give proper signal
• Failure to appear warrant for theft of a motor vehicle

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Theron Batiste Jr., 47, Houston, TX, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 5:36 pm on the following charges:

• Maximum speed limit
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of schedule I (MDMA)
• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
