St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Amari McGill, 20, Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on February 21, 2024, at 10:30 pm on the following charges:

• Reckless operation-no accident
• Aggravated flight from officer
• Hit and run
• Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle (2 counts)
• Criminal damage to property-aggravated
• No driver's license on person

Bail was set at $277,250.

 

Travis Zeno Jr., 20, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 21, 2024, at 10:04 pm on a warrant for the following charges:

• Speeding
• Driver must be licensed
• Aggravated flight from an officer
• View outward and inward of window

Bail was set at $6,000.

 

Scarlette Marie Burkart, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 21, 2024, at 9:19 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine). Bail was set at $6,000.

 

Zacolby Lionel Granger, 32, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 21, 2024, at 4:33 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, and simple criminal damage to property.

 

Timothy Earl Hillebran, 46, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on February 21, 2024, at 9:48 pm for battery-simple. Hillebran was released on a $2,000 bond.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
