St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 70 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Eric Spencer Gaskins, 53, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2024, at 10:48 pm for battery-simple. Gaskins continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Jarmontay Ahmond Roberson, 30, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2024, at 10:48 pm for battery-simple. Roberson continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Brad Devonce Vincent, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2024, at 10:48 pm for battery-simple. Vincent continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joaquima Javon Brown, 29, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2024, at 10:48 pm for battery-simple. Brown continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Tyson Miguel Joubert, 42, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 8, 2024, at 12:5 pm for probation violation. Joubert was released on a $1,000 bond.
Tyjuandre Darrell Harris, 27, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on May 8, 2024, at 8:17 pm for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute-attempted and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $7,500.
Eric Gene Watson Jr., 39, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 8, 2024, at 6:51 pm for burglary-simple and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $30,000.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Alex Galindo, 19, Gray, LA, was arrested on May 8, 2024, at 6:53 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (marijuana)
- Transactions involving drug offenses
- Violation of uniform CDS law (drug-free zone)
- Failure to signal lane change
- View outward or inward of window
Bail was set at $250,000.
Ronnell Williams, 24, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2024, at 11:58 am on the following charges:
- Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (marijuana)
- Illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a CDS
- Violation of uniform CDS law (drug-free zone)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Bail was set at $200,000.
