St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 95 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Traci Fitch Whitehurst, 42, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2024, at 7:16 am for battery of a correctional officer and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine.  Bail was set at $10,000.

 

Cedric Dwayne Sapp, 29, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2024, at 9:49 am for theft of motor vehicle-attempted and burglary-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Graceland Taesha Gable, 36, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2024, at 8:07 pm for probation violation-felony.  Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Barry Wayne Burney Jr., 62, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 12, 2024, at 2:33 am for driving while intoxicated and open container.  Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Calvin Smith Singleton, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2024, at 10:51 pm on two MCPD warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal damage to property and driving while intoxicated-child endangerment law.  Bail was set at $15,000.

 

Bryalen Anthony Kemp, 19, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 12, 2024, at 8:37 pm for criminal mischief-false report.  Kemp was released on a $500 bond.
