St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jovian Jerome Clark, 42, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 15, 2024, at 6:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.  Bail was set at $30,000.

 

Jody Ray Cubbedge Jr., 47, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 15, 2024, at 10:20 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled and improper lane usage

 

Candice N. Norman, 34, Zachary, LA, was arrested on May 15, 2024, at 2:29 pm for theft.  Bail has not been set at this time.
