St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kevin Latroy Darby, 33, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 30, 2024, at 10:50 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Calvin Smith Singleton, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 30, 2024, at 8:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute
• Obstruction of justice-tampering with evidence
• Resisting an officer
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Aketa Raquel Francis, 31, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 30, 2024, at 10:35 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $2997.00.

 

Gregory Jospeh Gros Sr., 62, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on May 30, 2024, at 2:41 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension, and improper lane usage. Gros was released on a $4,000 bond.
