St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Lamaris Tywan Ruffin, 24, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 5, 2024, at 8:03 pm for violation of protective orders. Ruffin was released on a $2,500 bond.
