Sheriff Gary Driskell Announces Detectives Investigating a Man Shot In Verdunville

At 5:36 am on Thursday, June 13, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a call of a person shot in the Verdunville area. Upon arrival, a man was found inside a residence who had been shot. First responders arrived and rendered aid but the man succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives do not believe there is an active threat to the public at this time and the investigation into this incident is ongoing. Further details will be released when they become available.
