St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Lionel Mitchell, 61, Labadieville, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2024, at 11:20 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving without a driver's license. Mitchell was released on his own recognizance.

Kodney Edward Nicholas, 35, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2024, at 10:48 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse-child endangerment law. Bail has not been set at this time.
