St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Shanay D. Griffin, 33, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2024, at 5:28 pm on a warrant for battery-simple and disturbing the peace by language. Griffin was released on a $2,750 bond.

 

Jonathan Lightfoot, 40, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2024, at 11:25 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of criminal neglect of family. Lightfoot was released on a paid fine of $420.

 

Shawn Case Lovell Sr., 47, Berwick, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2024, at 7:55 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia and on an MCPD warrant for failure to appear for the charges of theft and contempt of court. Bail has not been set at this time.
