St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 109 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Quandon Larkal Favors, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January12, 2025, at 12:52 pm on a warrant for burglary-from a vehicle (3 counts), criminal trespass, and criminal mischief-tampering with property (2 counts). Favors also held two PPD warrants for theft by shoplifting, burglary from a vehicle, and criminal trespass (2 counts).

In recent days, the SMPSO Uniformed Patrol Division responded to an initial complaint of a rash of vehicle burglaries in the Patterson area and opened an investigation into the incidents. Through the investigation, Favors was developed as a subject and linked to several incidents.

On January 12, 2025, deputies with the assistance of the Patterson Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Lucy Street in Patterson.  Contact was made with Favors and he was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

Sheriff Gary Driskell and deputies would like to thank the Patterson Police Department for their assistance in this case. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Christopher Paul Hines, 55, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on January 11, 2025, at 9:42 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of marijuana
• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• Stop signs and yield signs

Bail was set at $7,500.

 

Billy Betro Farnham, 39, Denham Springs, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2025, at 8:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II CDS (Meth)
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Operating a vehicle while intoxicated
• Reckless operation of a vehicle

Bail has not been set at this time.
