St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 85 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Krisean Rene Salinas, 20, Gibson, LA, was arrested on January 25, 2025, at 2:07 am for the following charges:

• Aggravated flight from an officer
• Theft
• Reckless operation-no accident
• Driver must be licensed
• Obstruction of highway-aggravated
• Speeding
• improper lane usage
• Expired or no inspection sticker
• Salinas also held active warrants with the Morgan City Police Department, Terrebonne Sheriff's Office, and Houma Police Department

Bail has not been set on the SMPSO charges. A hold has been placed on Salinas for another agency.
 

Justin Earl Stratton, 35, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 26, 2025, at 8:12 pm for violation of protective orders. Bail has not been set at this time.
