Arrest Report- April 10, 2026
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 98 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Shauntell Nicole Hartegen, 42, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 9, 2026, at 1:56 pm on a warrant for access device fraud and exploitation of the infirmed. Bail has not been set at this time.
Ricky Devon Hamilton, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2026, at 11:49 am on four warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Operating a vehicle while license is revoked, suspended, canceled
- Failure to stop/yield at stop sign
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Speeding
- Unlawful use of a driver's license
Bail has not been set at this time.
Galen Wayne Ford, 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2026, at 11:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for criminal neglect of family. Ford was released on a paid fine of $1,950.22.
Preston Jamal Wade, 36, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2026, at 8:39 pm on the following charges:
- Assault-simple
- Possession of marijuana
- Resisting arrest or officer
- Obstruction of justice-tampering
Bail has not been set at this time.
Ryan Thomas Devillier, 48, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 9, 2026, at 1:36 am for no headlights and driving while intoxicated. Devillier was released on a $2,750 bond.
