Arrest Report- April 13, 2026
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 131 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jada Lei Williams, 24, Berwick, LA, was arrested on April 11, 2026, at 3:05 pm for theft and prohibited acts. Williams was released on a $4,000 bond.
Zackery Dane Johnson, 40, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 11, 2026, at 4:00 pm for theft and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $7,500.
Caden Cameron Savoid Howard, 18, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2026, at 3:35 pm for battery-second degree, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and unlawful distribution of sample tobacco products. Bail has not been set at this time.
Bonifacio Tan-Awon, 67, Pearland, TX, was arrested on April 11, 2026, at 9:41 pm for hit and run, driving while intoxicated, and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Bail was set at $3,750.
Shawn Michael Barabin, 40, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2026, at 8:58 pm on the following charges:
- Driving on roadway laned for traffic
- Turning movements and required signals
- Reckless operation-no accident
- Driving while intoxicated
- No headlights
- View outward and inward of window
- Open container
- Driver must be licensed
- Cell phone use while driving
- General speed law
- Obstruction of highway-aggravated
Bail has not been set at this time.
Calum Paul Landry, 28, Chauvin, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2026, at 12:47 am for drag racing and racing on public roads and driving while intoxicated. Landry was released on a $3,000 bond.
Lorenzo Paul Harris, 40, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2026, at 1:05 am for criminal damage to property-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.
