St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 73 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Gilmer Perez-Hernandez, 23, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 15, 2026, at 10:03 pm on the following charges:

Driving on roadway laned for traffic
Open container
Driving while intoxicated
Driver must be licensed

Bail has not been set at this time.

Jermaine Dynell Harrison, 27, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 15, 2026, at 4:24 pm for criminal neglect of family and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, no child restraint, and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Bail has not been set at this time.

Patrick Leo Bourque, 44, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 15, 2026, at 4:48 pm for criminal neglect of family. Bail has not been set at this time.
