Arrest Report- April 6, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 188 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Matthew Ryan Stevenson, 33, San Antonio, TX, was arrested on April 3, 2026, at 9:20 am on a Kileen Police Department warrant out of Texas. Stevenson is being held for another agency.

 

Shelby Rae Lee, 42, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 3, 2026, at 9:19 pm for violation of protective orders. Bail was set at $10,000. 

 

Madison Alexandra Turner, 33, Abbeville, LA, was arrested on April 4, 2026, at 7:55 am for driving under suspension, no insurance, and switched license plate/stolen license plate. Turner was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Lilly Margaret Touchet, 34, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 4, 2026, at 7:25 am for obstruction of justice-tampering, possession of schedule II drugs, and seat belt required. Bail was set at $20,050.

 

Clauderious Darby, 37, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on April 4, 2026, at 9:36 pm on an Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office warrant. Darby is being held for another agency.

 

Elray David Duncan, 29, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2026, at 12:09 am on a Thibodaux Police Department warrant for the charges of failure to yield, expired registration, and driving under suspension. Duncan is being held for another agency.

 

Cornell Anthony Tardy Jr., 30, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2026, at 4:02 pm on the following charges:

• View inward and outward of window
• No child restraint (3 counts)
• Resisting an officer by giving false information
• Resisting arrest of officer (2 counts)
• Disturbing the peace by language

Bail was set at $9,500.

 

Christopher Dwaine Woods, 34, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2026, at 9:04 am for possession of schedule I drugs. Woods was released on a $3,000 bond. 

 

Alejandro Valero Gutierrez, 39, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2026, at 9:04 am on a Morgan City Police Department warrant for possession of marijuana. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jase Kolbe Darden, 38, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2026, at 2:49 am on a Broussard Police Department warrant. Darden is being held for another agency.

 

Juan A. Espino, 30, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2026, at 1:01 am on the following charges:

• Speeding
• Failure to signal
• Stop signs and yield signs
• Aggravated flight from officer
• Obstruction of highway-aggravated
• Reckless operation-no accident
• Threatening a public official

Bail was set at $213,500.

 

Vernon Donald Singleton Jr., 21, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2026, at 7:32 pm on the following charges:

• Speeding
• Driving while intoxicated
• Possession of marijuana
• Smoking or vaping marijuana in vehicles prohibited
• Failure to change address
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail was set at $14,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Terrion Robinson, 25, Gonzalez, LA, was arrested on April 2, 2026, at 12:10 pm on the following charges:

• Maximum speed limit
• Possession of schedule I drugs
• Possession of schedule V drugs with intent to distribute
• Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS

Bail was set at $150,250.
