Arrest Report- April 7, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Michael Chasee Stewart, 47, Gray, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2026, at 11:49 am for possession of schedule II drugs. Bail has not been set at this time.

Ethlin Joyann Simmons, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2026, at 10:37 pm on the following charges: 

• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• Turning movements and required signals
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of methamphetamines
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Open container
• No insurance

Bail has not been set at this time.
