Arrest Report- August 20, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 56 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Quincy Jacoby Jones, 39, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2026, at 9:21 am for battery of a correctional officer. Jones continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

John Joseph Demarco, 36, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2026, at 3:23 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges: 

• Possession of meth
• Possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Resisting an officer

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Daniel Joseph Aucoin Jr., 40, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2026, at 7:03 pm for resisting an officer by giving false information and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery, resisting an officer by providing false information, and domestic abuse battery-strangulation. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Joshua Robertson, 34, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2026, at 4:44 pm for possession of schedule II (Fentanyl) with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.
