St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Isai Nunez-Ortega, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 27, 2026, at 5:58 pm for burglary-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Rosa Adilia-Sanchez Santos, 48, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 27, 2026, at 5:58 pm for burglary-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Jerry Henderson, 48, Amelia, LA, was arrested on July 27, 2026, at 3:16 pm for possession of schedule II (methamphetamine). Bail has not been set at this time.
