St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 97 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Andrew Mackensey Schneider, 40, Colville, WA, was arrested on June 1, 2026, at 5:48 am for resisting arrest or officer and threatening a public official. Bail was set at $10,000.

 

Preston Jamal Wade, 36, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2026, at 10:17 am for battery-second degree and battery-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jeffery Lee Marks Jr., 33, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2026, at 12:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
  • Possession of legend drug without a prescription
  • Possession of promethazine
  • Transactions involving proceeds from drug offense
  • Resisting a police officer with force or violence
  • Resisting an officer
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Speeding
  • No driver's license
  • Possession of heroin

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Preston Jamal Wade, 36, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2026, at 10:17 am for battery-second degree and battery-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jason Lee Ribardi Sr. 53, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2026, at 7:47 pm for cruelty to a juvenile. Bail was set at $15,000.

 

Allen Ray Only Jr., 44, Centerville, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2026, at 5:43 am for domestic abuse child endangerment law-aggravated and violation of protection orders. Bail was set at $15,000.

 

Jason Joseph Bynum, 50, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2026, at 5:59 am for registration of sex offenders. Bail was set at $20,000.

 

Seth Aurelius Kidder, 46, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 3, 2026, at 4:18 am for criminal damage to property and home invasion. Bail was set at $8,500.

Jason Jermaine Matthews, 45, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2026, at 10:08 pm on a warrant for non-support. Bail was set at $22,416.34.
