Arrest Report- June 23, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-
hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 99
complaints and reports the following arrests:

Derrick Shawn Kirt, 48, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 23, 2025, at 9:17 pm for domestic
abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

Damien Aurelius Hale, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2025, at 7:40 pm for simple
assault without a dangerous weapon and disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Bail has not been set at
this time.

Clarence Colbert Jr., 54, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2025, at 3:40 pm for driving
while intoxicated, hit and run, and failure to report incident. Bail has not been set at this time.

Joel Fuentes Garcia, 43, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 21, 2025, at 10:29 pm on the
following charges:

• Driving while intoxicated
• Resisting an officer by flight
• Failure to dim headlights
• Driver must be licensed

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Gabriel Francis Randle, 23, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 21, 2025, at 9:43 pm on the
following charges:

• License plate lights required
• Color of clearance lamps
• No proof of insurance
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Rosendo Ponce Mata, 52, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 21, 2025, at 5:30 pm for domestic
abuse child endangerment law. Bail has been set at $12,500.
