Arrest Report- August 12, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jewel Ann Ross, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 11, 2025, at 8:13 am for possession of schedule V and possession of legend drug without prescription (2 counts). Bail has not been set at this time.

Cecil Michael Stratton, 46, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 11, 2025, at 7:48 am on the following charges:

• Obedience to police officer, weights and standards
• One way roadways and rotary traffic islands
• Proper equipment required on vehicles
• Expired license plate
• Expired or no inspection sticker
• No insurance
• Possession of legend drug without prescription

Bail has not been set at this time.
