Arrest Report- August 21, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 60 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Edgar Morales Mendiola, 17, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on August 20, 2025, at 9:15 pm on the following charges:

• Battery of a dating partner
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Unlawful sale/purchase/possession of tabacco by a person under 18

Bail has not been set at this time.

Cornesha Lashay Robertson, 19, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on August 21, 2025, at 9:15 pm for battery of a dating partner and criminal damage to property-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

NARCOTICS SECTION

Jessica Watts, 38, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 20, 2025, at 4:31 pm on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bail has not been set at this time.
