St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 56 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Alejandro Valero Gutierrez, 40, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 20, 2026, at 2:01 am for possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.
