St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 97 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Anthony Ray Stevenson Jr., 21, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2025, at 1:01 pm for criminal damage to property-simple, disturbing the peace by language, battery-simple, and on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of criminal damage to property. Bail has not been set at this time.

Nomad Michael Hoots, 48, Gretna, LA, was arrested on November 29, 2025, at 3:15 pm on an MCPD warrant. Hoots is being held for another agency.

Cedric Benjamin Gant, 28, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 30, 2025, at 2:22 pm on the following charges:

View inward and outward of window
Resisting an officer by flight
Driving under suspension
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Hit and run

Bail has not been set at this time.
