Arrest Report- December 18, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 165 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ethan Channing Breaux, 19, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, was arrested on December 17, 2025, at approximately 2:17 p.m. on a warrant charging him with Third-Degree Rape and Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.

On November 6, 2025, a detective with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office became aware of an incident involving a juvenile and initiated an investigation. Over the course of the following days, the detective gathered evidence and information sufficient to apply for an arrest warrant related to the incident.

The warrant was obtained, and with the assistance of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, Breaux was located and arrested. He was subsequently transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. At this time, bond has not been set.

Sheriff Gary Driskell and the Criminal Investigations Division of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office for their assistance in this investigation.

 

Charlotte Tonya Bracamontes, 37, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2025, at 1:40 am for disturbing the peace-intoxicated and resisting arrest or officer. Bracamontes was released on a $3,500 bond.

 

Robert Paul Stansbury, 42, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on December 16, 2025, at 8:39 pm for violation of protection order and on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

  • Resisting arrest or officer
  • Off road vehicles, authorization of use
  • Brake lights required
  • Theft
  • Reckless operation- no accident

Bail has not been set at this time.
