St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 7-day reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 278 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tariq Jamel Perry, 26, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 29, 2025, at 12:49 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Eric Lavon Brumfield, 58, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 29, 2025, at 11:04 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of littering and driving under suspension. Brumfield was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

David Allen Ackman, 45, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 28, 2025, at 6:54 pm on the following charges:

  • Resisting a police officer with force non-aggravated
  • Resisting arrest or officer
  • Burglary-simple
  • Unauthorized entry of a place of business

Bail was set at $70,000 and a hold was placed on Ackman.

 

Emil Joel Del Arca, 37, Gibson, LA, was arrested on December 27, 2025, at 1:37 am for improper lane usage, driver must be licensed, and driving while intoxicated. Del Arca was released on an $8,750 bond.

 

Johnny Berryhill, 45, Summit, MS, was arrested on December 27, 2025, at 3:24 am on the following charges:

  • Reckless operation-no accident
  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Littering
  • Open container
  • Resisting arrest or officer
  • Misrepresentation during booking

 

Berryhill was released on a $24,500 bond.

 

Danielle Bushinell Billiot, 33, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 26, 2025, at 3:00 pm for theft and on a warrant for failure to appear for theft. Bail was set at $10,000.

 

Earl Carlos, 43, Gray, LA, was arrested on December 25, 2025, at 7:44 pm on a protective order-felony. Bail was set at $12,500.

 

Russel Lee Pfotenhauer, 44, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 25, 2025, at 5:10 pm on two warrants for failure to appear for the charges of possession of a schedule II CDS, simple battery, and simple criminal damage to property. Bail was set at $4,000. 

 

Coneil Duane Hicks, 41, Jackson, MS, was arrested on December 24, 2025, at 8:36 pm for driving while intoxicated. Hicks was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Dominic Campbell, 47, Patterson, MS, was arrested on December 25, 2025, at 1:57 am for possession of marijuana and on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of domestic abuse battery. Campbell was released on a $6,000 bond.

 

Richard Darnell Cormier, 37, Bayou Vista, MS, was arrested on December 23, 2025, at 11:44 am for battery of a dating partner. Cormier was released on a $10,000 bond.
