Arrest Report- January 12, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 158 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Randolph Anthony Joseph, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 9, 2026, at 2:06 pm for battery-simple.  Joseph continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Meagan Alexandria Fisher, 37, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 9, 2026, at 10:31 am on two warrants for failure to appear for the charges of possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids and neglect of family.  Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Ve'antre Louis Seiss, 23, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2026, at 2:40 pm for obscenity.  Bail was set at $5,000.

 

Nicholas Scott Johnson, 22, Houma, LA, was arrested on January 11, 2026, at 7:20 pm on an MCPD warrant for aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce.  Johnson is being held for another agency.

 

Travis Shane Ruffin Jr., 27, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2026, at 9:01 am on a warrant for the charges of cruelty to animals-aggravated and pit bull ordinance.  Ruffin was released on a $20,000 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Brent Vining, 29, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 9, 2026, at 9:31 pm for domestic abuse battery-child endangerment and domestic abuse battery-pregnant victim.  Bail was set at $10,000.
