St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 68 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Shawn Casey Lovell Jr., 22, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 7, 2026, at 1:06 pm on a warrant for battery-aggravated.  Bail has not been set at this time.
