Arrest Report- July 1, 2026
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Cedric Dwayne Sapp, 31, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 30, 2026, at 11:48 am on a warrant for domestic abuse-child endangerment law and criminal trespass. Bail has not been set at this time.
Todd Wayne Romero, 51, Delcambre, LA, was arrested on June 30, 2026, at 6:18 am on a warrant for failure to appear for speeding and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Romero was released on a $1,000 bond.
Zedrick Zamal Gibson, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 30, 2026, at 3:15 pm on two warrants for failure to appear for simple robbery, simple escape, and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Bail has not been set at this time.
Erica Natasha Darby, 39, New Orleans, LA, was arrested on June 30, 2026, at 7:19 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of schedule II CDS (tapentadol)
- Operating a vehicle without proper required equipment
- Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
- Operating a vehicle not covered by security
- Failure to display license plate
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Bail has not been set at this time.
