St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 170 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Austin Jacob Vercher, 26, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 10, 2025, at 8:03 pm on a Patterson Police Department warrant for domestic abuse battery, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, and simple rape. Bail was set at $210,000.

Brant Michael Exley, 31, Houston, TX, was arrested on July 13, 2025, at 1:52 am on the following charges:

Maximum speed limit
Aggravated flight from officer
Obstruction of highway-aggravated
Resisting arrest or officer
Hit and run
Driving while intoxicated
Possession of cocaine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
No insurance

Bail was set at $32,000.

Emilie Ann Elkins, 32, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 10, 2025, at 2:30 pm for pitbull ordinance, and on a warrant for cruelty to animals-aggravated (23 counts), parish ordinance-rabies vaccination (23 counts), and keeping a disorderly place. Elkins was released on a $5,000 bond.

Natosha Lynn Hillebran, 47, Centerville, LA, was arrested on July 11, 2025, at 5:07 pm for violation of protective orders. Bail was set at $5,000.

Darla Rose Percle, 37, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on July 12, 2025, at 2:17 pm for parole violation. Bail has not been set at this time.

Grant Paul Johnson, 47, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2025, at 10:21 pm for unauthorized entry of a place of business and theft. Bail was set at $30,000.

Sherrica Lynn Theriot, 44, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2025, at 10:21 pm for unauthorized entry of a place of business, criminal trespass, and accessory. Bail was set at $16,500.

NARCOTICS SECTION

Sydney Walker, 37, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 10, 2025, at 2:55 pm on the following charges:

Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
Possession of schedule II (cocaine)
Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of schedule IV (alprazolam)
Possession of CDS in drug-free zone

Walker was released on a $6,500 bond.

Jmahdre Giles, 28, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 10, 2025, at 7:14 pm on a warrant for possession of marijuana, improper lane usage, and obstruction of justice-tampering. Giles was released on a $10,000 bond.
