St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Donna Reed, 54, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 14, 2025, at 4:05 pm for theft and possession of methamphetamines. Bail has not been set at this time.

Dylon Jude Chellette, 31, Schriever, LA, was arrested on July 15, 2025, at 3:29 am for improper lane usage, driving under suspension, and driving while intoxicated. Bail was set at $3,750.

Jared Paul Duplechin, 48, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on July 14, 2025, at 4:05 pm for the following charges:

Possession of methamphetamines
Possession of schedule II drugs
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Introduction of contraband-penal institution
Failure to appear warrant

Bail has not been set at this time.

NARCOTICS SECTION

Alvin Robinson Jr., 51, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 14, 2025, at 7:36 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for a child support hearing. Bail was set at $30,052.
