Arrest Report- July 30, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Christopher Lewis Avery, 47, Hattiesburg, MS, was arrested on July 30, 2026, at 3:11 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, and failure to honor a written promise to appear. Avery was released on a $530 bond.

Donovan Michael Chilton, 40, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 29, 2026, at 8:32 am for criminal damage to property-simple and burglary-simple. Bail was set at $20,000.
