Arrest Report- July 7, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48-
hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 76
complaints and reports the following arrests:

Justin Cyril Pellerin, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2025, at 11:54 pm on a warrant
for attempted second-degree murder and battery-simple.


On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 8:42 p.m., a deputy with the St. Mary Parish
Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Wilson Landing in Patterson, Louisiana, in reference to a
welfare complaint.


Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a man who reported that while he was at the sandbar
off the Atchafalaya River, another individual, identified as Justin Pellerin, allegedly attempted to
drown him.


Following an investigation into the incident, a warrant was obtained for Pellerin's arrest. On
Sunday, July 6, 2025, deputies located Pellerin and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law
Enforcement Center for booking.


Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Blaze Phillip Bourg, 47, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on July 7, 2025, at 10:30 pm for
domestic abuse battery.

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at approximately 7:50 pm, deputies with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's
Office were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence involving SMPSO employee Blaze Bourg
and another individual.


Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Bourg and conducted an on-scene
investigation. As a result of that investigation, Bourg was placed under arrest and transported to
the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.


In accordance with agency protocol, Bourg has been placed on administrative leave pending the
outcome of an internal investigation by the Office of Professional Standards.


The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office holds all employees to the highest standards of conduct, and
this matter will be handled with full accountability and transparency.


Bail has not been set at this time.

 

 

Kaden Paul Ashley, 24, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2025, at 10:13 pm on a warrant
for failure to appear on the charges of improper turn and/or failure to give required signal and
operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Ashley was released on a $3,000 bond.

 

Todd Michael Lebourgeois, 58, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2025, at 2:51 pm on the
following charges:

  • Domestic abuse battery
  • Domestic abuse-aggravated assault
  • Illegal possession of a firearm by convicted felon
  • Resisting arrest or officer
  • Possession of firearm in presence of a CDS
  • Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
  • Possession of methamphetamines
  • Obstruction of justice-tampering
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of CDS (drug-free zone)

Bail was set at $116,000.

 

Roberto Jurado Sorrosa, 37, Gibson, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2025, at 2:35 am for no
driver's license, driving while intoxicated, and no head lights. Sorrosa was released on a $3,000
bond.
