St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 54 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Michael Federer Jr., 36, Berwick, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2026, at 6:00 pm for violation of protective orders and theft. Bail has not been set at this time.

Dennis Elmer Carter, 79, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2026, at 4:33 pm for aggravated assault with a firearm. Bail has not been set at this time.
