Arrest Report- June 26, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 53 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Benjamin Joseph Bertrand, 18, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 25, 2026, at 12:24 pm on a warrant for distribution of child sexual abuse material. Bail has not been set at this time.

Rachelle Deanna Madison, 56, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 25, 2026, at 10:03 am for speeding. Bail has not been set at this time.

Maria Lizbeth Maldonado-Moreno, 36, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on June 25, 2026, at 5:36 pm on the following charges: 

• Possession of stolen things
• Driver must be licensed
• Proper equipment required on vehicles
• Open container
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

Joyce Ann Jones, 42, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 25, 2026, at 10:36 pm for leash law and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Bail was set at $500.

Kenneth Wayne Rollins, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2026, at 2:16 am on an MCPD warrant for possession of schedule I drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $26,500.
