St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 144 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jamerie Tyheim Gash, 22, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 27, 2025, at 10:25 on the following charges:
· Maximum speed limit
· View inward and outward of window
· Proper equipment required on vehicles
· No insurance
· Hit and run
· Aggravated flight from officer
· Obstruction of highway-aggravated
· Resisting arrest or officer
· Criminal trespass
· Aggravated assault with motor vehicle upon an officer
· No driver's license on person
· Possession of drug paraphernalia
· Possession of heroin with intent to distribute
· Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
· Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute
· Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute
· Possession of firearm-felon
· Possession of firearm in presence of CDS
· Possession of firearm by person convicted of domestic battery
Gash also held an active warrant with the Louisiana Fire Marshal's Office.
Bail has been set at $643,000.
Kristen Michelle Romero, 39, Duston, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 12:37 on a failure to appear warrant for the following charges:
· Driving under suspension
· Careless operation with crash
· Remaining where forbidden
· Possession of marijuana
· Theft of a motor vehicle
Bail has been set at $35,000.
Logan Dylan Cleveland Dupuy, 22, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 11:30 pm for battery-simple. Dupuy was released on a $1,000 bond.
Bailee Marie Loupe, 24, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 11:30 pm for battery-simple. Loupe was released on a $2,500 bond.
Damien Kane Keller, 41, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 8:21 pm on an MCPD warrant for contempt of court. Keller was transferred to another agency.
Jamie Truman Scarbrough Jr., 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 6:35 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Scarbrough was transferred to another agency.
