Arrest Report- March 12, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 58 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jacob Wilson Zirlott, 42, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2026, at 1:38 pm on four warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II CDS (meth) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule I CDS (marijuana) with intent to distribute
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Resisting an officer
• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• Criminal neglect of family
• Possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a felon
• Possession of MDMA
• Illegal use/possession/control of weapons crime of violence

Bail has not been set at this time.

Linda Veal, 18, Opelousas, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2026, at 5:11 pm for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bail has not been set at this time.
