St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 58 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jeremy Earl Gamble Jr., 28, Berwick, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2026, at 4:17 pm on a warrant for probation violation on the charge of possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of improper driving left of center of roadway and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Bail has not been set at this time.

Anthony M. Johnson, 53, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2026, at 4:27 am on the following charges:

Turning moments and required signals
Mufflers
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Driving while intoxicated

Bail was set at $22,500.

Ratrnia R. Bean, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2026, at 3:26 am on the following charges:

Possession of schedule I drugs
Possession of firearm in presence of a CDS
No proof of insurance
Improper lane usage

Bail has not been set at this time.
