Arrest Report- March 18, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 55 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Leon Sylvester, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 17, 2026, at 1:36 pm on a warrant for the following charges: 

• Trafficking of children for sexual purposes
• Indecent behavior with juveniles
• Computer-aided solicitation
• Sexual battery-oral
• Carnal knowledge of a juvenile

Bail was set at $1,100,000.

NARCOTICS SECTION

Isaac Edwards III, 44, Centerville, LA, was arrested on March 17, 2026, at 10:09 pm for possession of schedule I drugs (MDMA), possession of schedule I drugs (marijuana), and improper lane usage. Bail was set at $5,250.
